Inside Sales/Outside Sales Trainee
Job Description
Very well established and growing company is looking for several Sales Trainees to join its team! This entry-level position is perfect for a recent college graduate or a candidate who is a bit more established but looking for a change, and is a great "starting point" into this company. The position starts out with 18-24 months of training in order to become very familiar with the company, its products, procedures, and people. The majority of the training will take place at the company headquarters in Milwaukee, but will also include visits to several other facilities in other states.
During the training period, the new hire will become adept at:
Providing product information accurately and knowledgeably.
Providing accurate and timely price information on stock items.
Providing accurate and timely price information on specially manufactured orders.
Providing accurate and timely delivery information, expediting as needed.
Providing prompt and courteous responses to orders and quotation requests from customers, prospective customers, sales and management personnel.
Being able to accurately and expediently initiate and process stock orders, special make orders, sample requests and printing layout requests.
Administering the Company Credit Policy effectively and uniformly.
Working harmoniously with other Sales personnel, office personnel, factory personnel, and vendors.
Using the computer and other tools to make efficient use of time, while enhancing the level of service to our customers.
Knowing the various machine capabilities and specifications.
Understanding the basic principals of printing, of paper, of postal specifications.
Directing others in correct procedures and performance.
Functioning independently from direct supervision of their immediate supervisor, being relied upon to make good, informed decisions.
Working hours: 1st shift, overtime may be required
Job Requirements
This job is best filled by college educated individuals who are self-motivated, confident and organized. The ability to make good independent decisions and basic math skills and some computer familiarity is helpful.
NOTE: Outside Sales Trainees should be willing to eventually relocate - Outside Sales positions will be outside of Wisconsin.
