Job Description
Kellogg Company has an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Supervisor in our Syracuse, NY Distribution Center. This is a GR-R-REAT opportunity to use your experience, skills, and leadership abilities, in a world-class organization. The Distribution Supervisor plays a key role in managing the daily operations of a warehouse and fleet for a direct store delivery center assuring timely and cost effective service levels in partnership with the sales team. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):1) Maintaining relationships with maintenance vendors, transportation vendors, retail customers and the sales team. 2) Recruitment, discipline, training and development of hourly employees and adhering to multiple collective bargaining agreements.3) Responsible for managing the efficient loading and unloading of trucks, work safety management and training, and federal/state/local regulatory compliance.4) Ensuring compliance to all Federal and State regulatory requirements; DOT, Sec. 404, AIB Food Safety Regulations, Internal/External Audits, Driver Qualification Files, Hours of Service, and random drug testing.5) Responsible for accurate record keeping, inventory, damaged/destroyed goods and the consistent enforcement of company policies.
Job Requirements
Minimum requirements:- 2 - 3 years of Supply Chain management or DC experience required. Preferred: - Warehouse experience preferred.- Experience managing multiple IT platforms, such as SAP, Cadec, PTV, PTL and DEX is preferred. - Strong PC skills in MS Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel is preferred.- Union Experience is preferred.

Minimum requirements:- HS Diploma/GED required. Preferred: - Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred
