The Instrumentation & Electrical Coordinator primary position is to provide troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and construction expertise for Automation and SCADA field hardware, communications and related field software. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Represent the company as the instrumentation and electrical leader in the field focusing on optimizing Compressor Station and Pipeline Electrical Systems
- Responsible for new installations, repair, routine maintenance and recommending field solutions for all electrical and instrumentation related items
- Maintain communication(s) on field automation equipment
- Be responsible for all electrical and instrument related items during new compressor station start-ups
- Assess current operations, procedures, problems or needs and recommend improvements to improve safety, increase productivity, enhance performance and reduce cost
- Provide Pipeline Tech Training on Electrical/Instrument related items that might affect operations
- Interaction with M & C Technicians/Specialists and Production Controls with M & C Specialists, Pumpers, Oklahoma City Measurement and SCADA personnel.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Must have related experience in Oil and Gas industry
- Prefer 3 - 6 years experience related to instrumentation & electrical work
- Must have working knowledge of National Electric Code
- 480 Volt Experience
- Texas State Electrical License is preferred
- PLC Experience
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electronics, electricity and basic oil and gas principles
- Knowledgeable in Flow Computer principles and concepts
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available for 24 x 7 on-call rotation
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc)
