District Sales Manager/Merchandiser

Description USA TODAY has an immediate opening for a District Sales Manager / Merchandiser in our Southern Colorado region. Responsible for increasing the sale and distribution of USA TODAY, Sports Weekly and Sports Weekly Special Editions. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years sales experience and possess excellent analytical, communication, presentation and relationship building skills. Your will manage existing accounts, strategies and wholesale relationships to maximize profit while developing and securing new accounts for additional sales growth. You will travel our Southern Colorado region to audit routes, implement sales plans and account strategies. This is a fast paced environment which requires some evening and weekend hours for area reviews. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Familiarity with PC applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Crystal Reports, and AS400 are a plus.
