Retirement Plan Processor

We are currently looking for an Entry Level Retirement Plan Processor for our Retirement Resources group.
The position is responsible for becoming an expert on multiple retirement plans. They will identify the most appropriate course of action to ensure participant balances are updated accurately and transactions are completed within client quality and service standards. Responsible for indentifying and resolving issues to meet the needs of the client.
Responsibilities include
Responsible for learning and becoming an expert on multiple retirement plans
Rely on expertise to:- Identify the most appropriate course of action to process each transaction for the assigned client to ensure accuracy
- Process data maintenance on assigned plans
- Review & Process VRU/Web site activity
- Review the STP job que for assigned clients
- Review workflow folders for processing of assigned clients
- Ensure that all trades, deposits and withdrawals for the team are completed within client quality and service standards
- Utilize system generated reports to identify and resolve plan issues
Responsible for completing a section of the Pre-Quarter End, Quarter End, and Year End processes- Review system generated reports for accuracy
- Submit support requests when necessary for assistance with errors
- Request Account Managers & Consultants contact the client for additional information as necessary
Responsible for backing up other Processors and Senior Processors which involves cross-training to learn client base
Responsible for testing the quality assurance of upgrades to existing systems
Partners with Account Managers & Consultants to resolve daily plan issues as applicable
Responsible for working with IT to resolve system related issues
Assist with training existing processes to new and existing employees
Special projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Within 18 months of hire date must have successfully passed one of the open book exams that are administered by American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA); Exams: RPF-1 or
- RPF-2
- 2 to 5 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with Relius Administration Software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proficient to advanced personal computer skills including: electronic mail, internet, routine database activity, spreadsheet and keyboarding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately process multiple transactions and have knowledge of the daily recordkeeping aspects of the clients� plan document and applicable compliance and regulatory issues.
- Must be proficient in all trading platforms, recordkeeping software, web and VRU.
- Must have strong organizational skills and time management skills with emphasis on follow �through and completion to meeting objectives
- Ability to apply problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to think and make decisions quickly
- Must be a team player but also work well independently
