Training Demand Manager (M1 11)
Purpose: The Training Demand Manager is responsible for the effective initiation, scheduling and resource assignment for all Healthways field-based training needs, including but not limited to Participating Location Training, Health Plan Training, Instructor Evaluation, OQR and Field Colleague training. The Training Demand Manager will directly manage the team that supports the demand function, and work closely with the central support team that completes all ancillary training activities. Responsibilities: - Apply critical thinking and effective decision-making in order to effectively manage all logistical activities associated with all field training needs, including pilot project logistics
- Analyze, approve, assign and prioritize all field training needs, including the implementation of alternative methods to meet training demands, ensure cost savings and satisfy client needs
- Apply effective issues management techniques to ensure resolution of all issues affecting the training programs and delivery thereof
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, PLs and health plans
- Track progress of all scheduled training events
- Analyze data for efficiencies and effectiveness in order to implement process improvements accordingly. This should include process improvement for ongoing changes in our marketplace
- Collate various management reports, as deemed necessary
- Adhere to all relevant processes and procedures.

Knowledge and Experience: - Familiarity with a variety of Healthways field-based concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred
- Experience with multi-layered logistical planning and execution, including rational decision making, critical thinking and implementation of cost saving methodologies
- Experience in analyzing data trends in order to implement process improvements
- Experience in appropriate and effective management reporting
- Strong Microsoft Office experience, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications; in addition experience in scheduling and event management tools
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and individuals
- Requires a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures and precedents.
Education: - Bachelor's degree required and relevant work history/experience.
