Southern Division/West Palm Beach Call Center

Customer Service

Primary Purpose: Provides inbound telephone support via a proprietary computer system by selling cable services, high speed data services and/or telephony services to new and existing customers. Demonstrates strong Comcast product knowledge by being able to communicate features, advantages and benefits and selling the value of the products and services. Explains new marketing promotions and programs and responds to routine issues. Meets or exceeds sales objectives by following the corporate sales process for determining customer needs through rapport building and active listening. Meets requirements in the areas of sales, quality and productivity by efficiently answering and handling calls. Assists with other calls if required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
 

Job Requirements 

-A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a Call Center environment preferred
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel along with basic billing knowledge of DST/COMTRAC desired
  • Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and enjoy working in a challenging results driven sales environment.
  • Knowledge of sales and retention policies
  • Must be able to handle difficult customers in a professional manner and build customer loyalty
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems with all product and service lines
  • Excellent verbal communication skill with the ability to communicate on all levels
  • Ability to work seated for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays or extended hours, as needed.

    Education:
    High School Diploma or GED.
