Job Description
Job Summary: This position provides specialized repair (radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, laser, etc.) and maintenance services to diagnostic imaging and general biomedical equipment. Essential Duties: - Performs significant preventative maintenance/safety tests/calibration for imaging/ general biomedical medical equipment in inventory.
- Provides medical equipment repair for imaging equipment/ general biomedical medical equipment in inventory.
- Completes all necessary record keeping and service documentation
- Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the servicing of medical equipment.
- Provides on-call coverage on a rotating basis and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education: - Associate's Degree in a related field required or military equivalent
Experience: - 3-5 years of related experience.
- MUST have imaging service experience
- Reliable transportation required.
- Must be current on technological and medical advances.
- Must have current understanding of JCAHO and NFPA regulations.
- Must have the ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of medical equipment.
License/Certification:- CRES/CBET certification preferred.
