POSITION DUTIES This IA candidate will apply your security engineering expertise to DoD systems, recommending information assurance solutions focused on information assurance management concepts, cryptography; identity management systems and PKI. Must have strong VB and DOS scripting experience Have experience in maintaining and deploying eEye Retina as a vulnerability tool in tracking the organization's IA posture Must possess strong network security experience and familiarity with DoD and Army IA policy is required, i.e., DoD Instruction 8570.01, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) information security standards AR 25-1, and AR 25-2 This person shall prepare accreditation packages in accordance with DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process. He/She must be able to create reports for management, giving the organization its IA posture. Have working knowledge of Microsoft Center Configuration Management (SCCM) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
SKILL REQUIREMENTS The candidate shall be required to identify problems and recommends solutions The candidate shall monitor, configure and maintain anti-virus protection delivery daily and push/transmit security patch updates for all sites. The candidate shall submit via e-mail, Trouble Tickets to CONUS Theater Network Operation Service Center (TNOSC) for the purpose of troubleshooting and resolving automation related issues. The candidate shall assist in administering configuration, maintenance and operation of the Fort Gordon Microsoft Windows 2003 Active Directory Organizational Unit including the following activities: Creation and administration of Group Policies. Creation\Deletion\Management of Domain User accounts. Creation\Deletion\Management of Domain Machine accounts. Creation and administration of Active Directory objects (containers, printers, etc.) Creation and maintenance of user profiles. File and share permission management. Print services Provide management and administration of security devices to include: Firewall Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems Proxies Gateways Filter CIBER, Inc.
