Position is responsible for planning and executing all aspects of Pilot Plant trials for Nestle HealthCare Nutrition R&D Minneapolis. Responsibilities include: ingredient weigh-ups, labeling and staging; mixing, measuring, adjusting, and homogenizing batches; thermally processing and packaging batches; operating all Pilot Plant process equipment; operating boiler; cleaning equipment/tools; and documenting and managing trial records.
Required education and experience: skilled in use of Microsoft Office tools; basic knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP); ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Preferred skills & knowledge: degree in food science, engineering or similar; forklift training; boiler operator license; better process school certification.
Additional skills: strong organizational skills; detail/quality-oriented; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
