LAND DRILLING CONTRACTORseeking experienced Land Drilling
Rig Electrician (this is not an offshore position) for the Weatherford, TX Division.
Position requires:
- Tech/Vocational Certificate
3+ Years Rig Electrician Experience (land rigs)Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for maintaining the electrical systems, troubleshooting power systems and
providing technical services related to the rig operations and maintenance of several
drilling rigs.
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rig technology, hydraulics, computer systems,
and electronic systems
Maintaining this equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company
standards thus providing a rig maintained at a high operational and reliable standard
Ensure compliance with Company policies and proceduresSuccessful candidate should possess excellent communication/organizational skills, possess a Registered Electrical Journeymans Licenses with experience working with AC Variable Frequency Drives, SCR drives, generator controls, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices. Experience with RAPAD rigs is an asset.
