Sales Engineer Job
Services company has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Sales Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the Power Generation industry. You should have at least 3 years of experience in a marketing or sales role. Specific knowledge of Hydroelectric and Electrical Substation maintenance and refurbishment is required. This is a direct hire position in the Portland, OR area. Great benefits including relocation assistance. Responsibilities - Sell company's technical services for Hydroelectric and Electrical Substation maintenance, refurbishment, and construction
- Develop business by creating industry contacts, developing business leads, positioning company to bid on projects, assisting with proposals, presenting proposals to clients, etc
- Work with VP, CCO, and General Manger to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and sales targets
- Assist in obtaining business relationships with vendors
Requirements - A BS in Engineering or equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in and thorough knowledge of the power generation industry
- Specific knowledge of electrical substation, switchyard, and plant systems and hydroelectric maintenance and refurbishment practices
- Working knowledge of substation and hydroelectric plant and construction is very desirable
