Our client is a Global Professional Services Company who is sourcing candidates for a Strategic Sourcing Manager. This individual must have proven experience with the procurement of Software and Ourtsourcing/Off-shoring as well as the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Job description
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing strategies for the sourcing of Software and Outsourcing/Off-shoring vendor engagements. Day to day responsibilities include the following:
Lead and manage complex sourcing projects for Software and Outsourcing/Off-Shoring ensuring the appropriate stakeholders are included in the decision process.
Lead cross-functional teams in the development of the sourcing strategies for Software and Outsourcing/Off-Shoring.
Effectively plan and negotiate enterprise wide agreements that minimize risk exposure and provide optimal terms and conditions, anticipate and resolve implementation barriers in a timely fashion.
Develop and maintain close business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to identify needs, eliminate unnecessary demand for products/services and ensuring business goals are met.

Requirements
Who we are looking for
Candidates that will be considered for the Strategic Sourcing Manager - Software and Outsourcing/Off-Shoring should meet the following:
8+ years IT procurement/sourcing experience in the software and outsourcing/off-shoring commodity group.
Deep understanding of software and offshoring initiatives.
Experience with managing multiple projects.
Experience with managing key supplier relationships.
Ability to build relationships, trust, confidence and buy-in throughout the organization to identify and execute sourcing strategy and projects.
Strong written & verbal communication, listening, interpersonal, consensus building and facilitation skills.
Exceptional problem solving skills, ability to analyze multiple and complex situations to determine most effective way of resolving issues and pushing strategy forward.
Understand supplier market dynamics & key indicators.
CPM or other professional certifications desired.
