Description SALES - CARBIDE CUTTING TOOLS:


Tungaloy America is an emerging leader in the development and distribution of innovative carbide cutting tools. Tungaloy is looking for an experienced Salesman with a minimum of 5 years machining and sales experience in the Tennessee area markets. The ideal candidate should have a strong account following already in these markets. Tungaloy offers a competitive salary, progressive commission and bonus program, generous benefits package, company auto and travel expenses. Ideally, the candidate will live in the Eastern Tennessee (Knoxville area), but other locations in Tennessee will be considered for the right person.

Responsibilities include:
• Work directly with end users providing tool demonstrations that result in sales channeled through our distribution network.
• Provide technical support, identify customer needs, define problems and recommend solutions while providing service after the sale.
• Provide test and cost savings documentation to the customer.
• Provide distribution channel with new product updates & training, tool demonstrations, product spiffs & promotions.
• Submit weekly & monthly sales progress reports to Regional Management.
• Overnight travel as needed to accomplish goals

Work Experience and Skills:
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales 
• Minimum 5 years machining experience 
• High energy level with excellent verbal communication skills 
• Basic CNC machine tool programming. Demonstrated knowledge of the application and trouble-shooting of indexable cutting tools in turning and milling.
• Experience in the distribution role of stocking, promoting and selling the company's products within the territory. 
• Excellent time management and organization skills. 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint
