Data Translations Engineer

Description Project Name: New Site Build   Project Description:
This project is responsible for the continued build out for the Ericsson 2G Network   Job Description:
Candidate should have 2 to 3 years of Data Translations experience for Ericsson BSC & BTS Platforms

Proven Ability to effectively communicate and resolve technical issues verbally and in writing

Knowledge of GSM Technology
a. Ability to Create, Augment and implement BTS scripts in support of network growth for the Ericsson BSC
b. Ability to perform site augmentations for Ericsson to include the following activities:
1. Dip Assignments- provide end to end support to Field Ops by creating scripts for T1- adds and removals
2. BTS Re-home - provide end to end support to Field Ops by creating scripts for rebalancing sites from one BSC to another
3. BSC Re-home- provide end to end support to Field Ops by creating scripts for rebalancing BSC’s from one MSC to another
4. Radio Adds – provide support to field OPS by creating scripts to support radio adds and Freq changes
5. Site Expansion – provide support to field Ops by creating scripts to support all areas of site expansions i.e. maio changes, frequency changes, BTS re-cabling…….. Etc.
6. Retune – provide support to RF and Performance engineers by developing scripts to support system wide frequency changes Required Tests and Certifications Required Tests:       Test One: None Selected       Test Two: None Selected Required Certifications:       Certification One: None Selected       Certification Two: None Selected Skills Inventory   Skill Experience Need 1) Ericsson BSC Intermediate Required 2) Ericsson MSC Entry Level Desired 3)
