Our company, an international leader of steel manufacturing & rebar, is looking to hire Industrial Millwrights for their facility located in the Southeast. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years millwright experience in the Steel, Foundry or Paper Mill industry- we will not flex on this requirement so please do not apply if you have not worked in one of the environments listed above.  A Journeyman Certification or Millwright Apprenticeship is strongly desired. Candidate should have mechanical maintenance experience in the melt shop, rolling mill or heat furnace area of the mill. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, mechanical systems, gear boxes, conveyors, furnaces, motors, compressors, pumps and overhead cranes desired.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Please make sure you meet the following requirements before applying- you will NOT be considered if you do not meet these requirements:

• At least 6 years of maintenance experience in the melt shop, furnace or rolling mill of a steel mill, paper mill or foundry

• Journeyman Certification or Millwright Apprenticeship highly desired

• Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, Mechanical Systems

• Proficient with gear boxes, conveyors, compressors, pumps, motors, furnaces, overhead cranes

• Stable work history

• Must be willing to relocate
