Description
We currently have an opportunity available for a Distribution Supervisor.
Position summary:
- Provide inclusive leadership and direction to distribution associates in regards to:
Teamwork
Daily Operations
Operational Safety
New Hire Training
Process Improvement
Proper Work Methods
Food Safety & Sanitation
Labor Management Systems
- Use available technology to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly, shipping and receiving process.
- Create an environment where the mind set of continuous and never-ending improvement is recognized as a desired behavior trait. Inspire and support improvement changes.
- Maintain the high standards of professionalism and customer first excellence with our stores and associates.
- Successfully meet DC goals and KPI’s as it relates to:
Audits
Accident Rates
Assembly / LTO Hours
Cost per Unit / Warehouse Units per Hour
Percent Overtime / Pre-scheduling Overtime
Store feedback on quality, errors and food safety
Inventory adjustments (damage, counts, add-outs, etc)
Assembly Accuracy and LTO Accuracy
- Manage the daily warehouse operation by:
Completing Time and Attendance
Coordinate and schedule manpower
Coaching, counseling and employee discipline when necessary
Identify and immediately address any problem areas
Create a more informed workforce through meaningful communication
Requirements
