PROSOCO, Incorporated is a custom formulator of specialty cleaners and protective treatments for masonry and concrete. Products and services developed by PROSOCO are designed to improve the appearance and performance of architectural masonry. This high level of specialization makes PROSOCO, Inc. unique within the construction industry.

Job Requirements:

• Work with research & development chemist and other lab team members to accomplish the goals of product development. 

• Perform laboratory testing and field-testing of developmental products utilizing standard test procedures and protocols. 
• Help design additional testing protocols and coordinate in-house and outside testing related to R&D and project testing projects. 
• Write lab reports documenting test results and make recommendations to accomplish product development objectives. 
• Assist production and QC personnel as required for product scale-up, production trouble-shooting and batch adjustments. 
• Prepare batches of T-products to fill sample requests.

• B.A. or B.S. in chemistry or similar discipline.  Formal education and/or prior experience in one or more of the following is a plus:

             - Silicone chemistry

             - Detergents, surfactants, cleaners

             - Building material composition and construction techniques.

• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.

• Must have good hand-eye coordination for using heavy-duty equipment.

• Must have excellent communication and writing skills for generating reports.
