Registered Nurse for Home Hospice

The hospice nurse is responsible for identifying patient/family needs and for providing supportive care in accordance with the attending Physician's order and Plan of Care.  This is not a job where you pass meds, chart in a hurry and move onto the next patient.  Nurse will obtain data on physical, psychological, social and spiritual factors that may influence the patient/family health status and incorporate that data into the Plan of Care.  Meets regularly with Hospice nursing staff to review problems or unique issues from caseload, share professional support and exchange feedback aimed toward enhancing professional growth.

Requirements:

1. Possession of a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of PA.

2.  At least one year of expereince with direct patient care.

3.  Valid PA Drivers license.

4.  Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
