Position Summary:
The instructor facilitates meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively supports all facets of the learning environment. S/He provides education through learning-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. S/He encourages a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning and ethics as well as personal and professional development.

            2. Designs and delivers class instruction to meet course competencies

            4. Delivers learner-centered instruction that allows student involvement

            7. Contributes to a culture of learning through participation in campus activities
            8. Relates industry experience to learning by continuation of skills development

Position Requirements:
1. MUST have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design with a Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, Design with a concentration in Interior Design, Historic Preservation, Sustainable Design, Environmental Design
2. Previous teaching experience
3. Five years of relevant industry experience
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Genuine interest in helping students
6. Ability to act effectively and professionally as the member of a team
