Adjunct Faculty – Interior Design
The Art Institute Ohio - Cincinnati
The Art Institutes are the leading educators of students in the creative and applied arts, including Design, Media, Fashion, and Culinary Arts. There are over 40 Art Institutes located in major cities across North America that award master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, associate's degrees, and non-degree programs.
Position Summary:
The instructor facilitates meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively supports all facets of the learning environment. S/He provides education through learning-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. S/He encourages a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning and ethics as well as personal and professional development.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
1. MUST have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design with a Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, Design with a concentration in Interior Design, Historic Preservation, Sustainable Design, Environmental Design
2. Previous teaching experience
3. Five years of relevant industry experience
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Genuine interest in helping students
6. Ability to act effectively and professionally as the member of a team
