Telemetry Unit: Clinical Nurse

Currently Maryland General Hospital is hiring for a Telemetry Nurse.  This individual should have at least 6 months to a year of experience in the Telemetry setting.

• Overall responsibility for assuring that the nursing process is followed for each

patient from admission through discharge.

• Responsible for managing, directing and supervising, all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment in the unit.

• Promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

• Expectations in exercising judgment in the care of patients and in the management of personnel.

• The RN will adhere to all regulations of the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements:

            - Must have at least 6 months to a year of nursing experience.

            - Must have experience in a Telemetry unit.

            - Currently licensed in the State of Maryland.

            - Certification in specialty desired (ACLS/PALS)
