Description Riverview Hospital Association is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team.

The Speech and Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients and providing education to individuals and groups.  The Speech Therapist will concentrate on the areas of speech, cognitive-linguistics and swallowing with the goal of restoring or improving cognitive, communicative and swallowing efficiency.

This is a full-time position that works 64 hours every two weeks.
Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from an accredited university.

One to two years experience and additional knowledge of audiology may be required.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

State of Wisconsin licensure or license eligibility.

Must be CPR certified on an annual basis, initially within one year of employment.

 

  

EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:

Those skills inherent to a graduate of speech-language pathology.

Keyboarding skills sufficient for efficient data entry and clinical notes, as well as using the clinical modules of the Meditech Information System.
