Description

Golden LivingCenter  Brentwood is currently looking for a quality minded person to join our management team as the Activities Specialist.

Responsible to plan, organize, and direct a program of activities that provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression and fulfills basic psychological,
social, and spiritual needs, which will be available to all residents of the facility.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.

 

• Two (2) years experience in a social or recreation program preferably in a
long-term care setting within the last five (5) years.

 

• One (1) year as a full-time activities coordinator in a resident activities
program or equivalent.

 

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with
residents and employees.

 

• Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.

 

• Must maintain regular attendance.

 

• Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and pass post-
employment physical exam if required.

 

• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or
without reasonable accommodation.
