Overview:
Our primary vision is to identify and cultivate top talent to Sybron Dental Specialties. The Sales Support Department (aka Talent Acquisition Dept ) focuses on a diverse volume of searches for professional sales and corporate positions at our corporate facility headquartered in Orange, CA.
The incumbent must have the ability to develop strong communication channels with internal and external clients, a crucial element to business success.
Through consistent contact and relationship building, you will conduct full life cycle recruiting. Your strong ability to qualify candidates, both passive and active are imperative to meet Sybron’s ever growing hiring needs for today and beyond.
Your depth of experience with staffing organizations or independent recruiting firms is desired to handle the diverse challenges of hiring for our 7 operating companies under the Sybron Dental Specialties umbrella. Recruiting activity will span the Greater U.S. and Canada.
A blend of progressive and traditional methods will be combined for optimum results.
Multiple search methods including but not limited to; job boards, resume data base searches, outside vendors, employee referral program management and internet networking such as LinkedIn.
Our goal is to extend a personal touch to cultivate the passive candidate market.
Duties:
- Recruit, screen and interview candidates via phone and in person for positions within the organization. Conduct overflow candidate recruiting and screening as needed for internal SDS operations positions
- Facilitate proper documentation in ATS, to include contact history, attachments, criteria evaluation regarding, work experience, compensation requirements
- Maintains ATS applicant tracking systems, (ICMS and Taleo) as appropriate for employee referral program and requisitions as needed.
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
- Conduct in-take meetings to assess detailed job specifications, as well as process expectations with management regarding open requisitions.
- Develops recruitment programs, and creative recruiting methods to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
- Develops and maintains network of contacts (such as LinkedIn, Twitter) to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
- Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.
- Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruitcandidates.
- Utilizes Internet online recruiting and vendor sources( such as Monster and Careerbuilder) to identify and recruit candidates.
- Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.
- Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants on an overload as needed basis.
- Performs reference and background checks on applicants, as needed.
- Files and maintains employment records for future references.
- Act as a consultant to various level of Management.
- Ability to manage positions in remote locations.
