Description NEWLY-CREATED ACCOUNTING OPPORTUNITIES !!!!

We are working with two outstanding Columbia clients that are seeking to add a Financial Analyst to their growing teams.  Both positions are new roles and report to the Controller of each entity.  Our clients provide a professional work environment in addition to a competitive compensation and benefits package.  
 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial activity of multi-location business and research any variances
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting functions
  • Develop Executive-level overviews on trends, key influences and provide benchmarking
  • Provide input into accounting techniques and methodologies which improve business insight and financial results
  • Work closely with Controller, Director of Accounting and CFO
  • Assist Controller with month-end financial reporting responsibilities
  • Prepare cost reports and supporting documentation for reimbursement (Healthcare) 

     

    • Requirements
  • BS in Accounting or Business Related field required
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.  Financial reporting & analysis required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and effective communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and energetic environment
  • SAP or other ERP experience a plus 

     

    These positions require solid attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a "go-getter, can-do" attitude.  Must be able to pass a drug screen, credit check and background check.
