Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL) International, Inc., a growing government contractor, is recruiting a Human Resources Specialist to provide professional human resources services in our Richland, WA office. The principal responsibilities of the position are to provide human resources services for ATL staff in multiple locations.

 

We are looking for an energetic and organized HR professional to oversee the day-to-day activities of Human Resource operations. Candidate must be professional, detail and customer service oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

 •Recruiting, staffing, administering federal and state regulations. Solid knowledge of HR related laws, regulations and FLSA required.

•Administers benefits programs including medical, dental, life, disability insurances and 401(K) retirement plan. Will serve as the point of contact between employees and benefit providers.

 

• Prepares and files the annual required reports, including but not limited to EEO-1 and Vets-100 reports.

•Maintains organized records of benefits plans and employee files.

•Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

•Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.

 

• Possesses the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with executives, managers, & employees. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidentially with employees at all levels.

 

 

Requirements

Required/Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree; minimum 5 years experience administering, leading, and managing human resources programs; excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and to work independently under minimum supervision in a team environment. Must be proficient with MS office; PHR Certification desirable.
