Description

The Missouri Department of Revenue has a position for a professional tax accountant/auditor for the St Louis Field Compliance office.  This position will be responsible for conducting audits of Missouri Corporate and Franchise Tax returns of multi-state/multinational corporations.   This position will include approximately 25-35% travel. 

 

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of accounting and audit principles gained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.  Prior experience preparing or examining corporate income tax returns will be taken into consideration.  Salary is commensurate with education and experience.  To apply for this position applicants must complete an “On-Line Application" and “Apply for Vacancy" form at www.dor.mo.gov/hrs.   Qualified applicants must also submit a resume and cover letter by November 25, 2009, to the Missouri Department of Revenue, Personnel Services Bureau, P.O.
