Description

My client is a very reputable and excellent School of Pharmacy in West Virginia.  This is a Private, financially stable School of Pharmacy, well established, and in Candidate status.  I have been hired to recruit for 2 Clinical Practice Faculty Positions.  They are seeking Pharmacists who are residency trained, and with experience in either General/Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Critical Care, Nephrology, Oncology, or Emergency Medicine.  Faculty positions are full-time, non-tenure track (rank and salary commensurate with skills and experience).

Requirements

Faculty members are responsible for supporting the vision and mission of the School of Pharmacy through teaching in the professional pharmacy curriculum, providing pharmacy services to an identified clinical practice site, participating in scholarly activities, being an active member of School University committees , and improving patient health outcomes in the state and region. Qualified candidates have the Pharm.D Degree, completion of a 1 or 2 year pharmacy residency (or equivalent practice experience), and are eligible for licensure in West Virginia. A high degree of knowledge of standards and current trends in pharmacy practice, particularly in their area(s) of expertise and previous academic experience is highly desired.

 

The successful candidate is responsible for establishing a clinical practice and education model, and maintaining a clinic-based, ambulatory care, inpatient acute care practice, OR community pharmacy environment.
