The Systems Safety Engineering is responsible for system analysis, requirement management, and technical leadership for defining, developing, verifying, and supporting safe systems; experience in this area is required.
The Reliability function minimizes the system’s likelihood of failure, whether due to component failure (electrical and mechanical hardware reliability), (software), operator error (human reliability), or process abnormalities (process reliability). Experience in this area is a plus.
Candidate will support Mission Assurance in Systems Safety Engineering. Desire experience or a willingness to cross train in Human Factors and RMA (Reliability / Maintainability / Availability & Testability) disciplines. Systems are avionics, space, and ground systems including sub-systems such as communications, networks, displays, high reliability embedded software/firmware, and baseband equipment.
