Overview: To provide a wide range of administrative support to multiple consultants, managers, or projects, as appropriate
Detailed Description:
■ Organize and leverage time effectively for individuals supported; schedule, maintain and manage all calendar items
■ Act as informed deputy in dealing with clients and other persons whose good will and respect are of critical importance to those supported and McKinsey
■ With minimal guidance, assume responsibility for planning, organizing, and executing major projects (e.g., calls and meetings entailing coordinating 8+ individuals; scheduling/coordinating customer interviews for purpose of data gathering, usually 20-85 calls to be scheduled and completed in a 2 week period)
■ Plan client and internal meetings, conference calls, conferences/events and lunches/dinners
■ Be a liaison for and representative of McKinsey in dealing with clients; develop relationships with client and client administrative contacts
■ Collaborate with department members in creating smooth workflow, which may entail assisting with each other's work when necessary including follow-through and flexibility to ensure that appropriate and timely actions and deadlines are met
■ Act as liaison for assigned individuals to ensure that various departments provide requested support in an efficient, timely manner
■ Other duties as assigned

■ Detail oriented
■ Ability to work independently and follow up on multiple tasks/projects
■ Computer literate; strong email and calendaring skills required (LotusNotes proficiency preferred). Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel a plus
