GradStaff is currently recruiting for a Field Auditor position in the Effingham - Decatur area on behalf of a major Fortune 1000 Company. Eligible candidates must be willing to relocate!

Job Description:

Conducts internal financial audits working independently or in a team environment. The nature of the audits consist of financial, operational and compliance reviews; and will establish the basis for compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Executes internal audit assigned tasks within established business process controls.
• Audits the financial and the operating system processes for information integrity of transaction documents and reports discrepancies.
• Follows and executes audit plans and understands the specific issues to be evaluated.
• As assigned, help external auditors during year end audit.
• Audit, give direction and provide information.

This is a great entry-level position!

• This position requires daily travel to regional businesses to perform audits. Overnight travel is limited.

• This position reports to the Internal Audit Director. This person will be responsible for performing simple to moderately complex audits; and providing expertise in auditing standards and performance criteria, audit requirements, and information technology skills; and perform assignments related to operational auditing and  financial auditing.

• This person will maintain Internal Audit independence and objectivity in all assignments; following/maintaining internal audit procedures, schedules, priorities and programs for achieving audit objectives and goals; preparing audit reports using sound writing skills.

• This person will reflect the company’s values and demonstrate high ethical standards. Must achieve results across multiple business lines with short time frames to accomplish specific tasks.

Each auditor undergoes comprehensive training, and is provided ongoing education. Several weeks of initial training will be completed at one of our clients main locations in either Iowa or Illinois. Training is paid and all expenses are covered.

This position is located in the Effingham/Decatur area. Eligible candidates must be able to relocate. Our client promotes heavily within - Field Auditors will be given the opportunity to relocate to larger metro area markets across the US in the future!

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Finance degree preferred, but not necessary. Eligible candidates MUST be able to relocate to the Effingham/Decatur area!
