Description Established fuel distributor is looking for motivated individuals to join our team to expand our business through outside area sales. Preferred candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with a proven track record in sales and business development within the Petroleum industry including Fuel and Lubricants.

In this position an individual will build and maintain a customer base of unbranded gas, chemicals and lubricant customers in the South Texas region (San Angelo / San Antonio). You will be responsible for prospecting potential customers in person and via telephone.

Requirements This position requires a proven record in sales and business development. Applicants must have a strong work ethic with the ability to excel under limited supervision. A general knowledge of the Petroleum industry (including fuel, chemicals and lubricants) is required.

Other requirements include:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
The ability to effectively operate Microsoft based computer programs
The ability to travel (both local and long distance) up to 50% of the time.
