Description
  • The Registered Nurse - Outpatient Care Center - Cath Lab will be primarily responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of quality of nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Vascular Labs.
  • The nurse will be part of a team responsible for physiological monitoring; pre- and post-procedure vital sign monitoring and interpretation; and analysis, computing, and reporting of pertinent cardiopulmonary physiological data obtained. 
  • The RN will decrease patient and family anxiety level through appropriate measures by meeting physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the patient and family.

 

Schedule: Part time (0.6 FTE/24 hours per week). Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m.-8 a.m. Plus call.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • State of Wisconsin nursing licensure.
  • Two years medical/surgical/cardiovascular nursing or one year ICU/ER nursing experience.
  • BLS within one month of employment.
  • ACLS within 12 months of employment.
  • PALS certification, as appropriate.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • One year interventional cardiology experience.
  • Knowledge of EKG rhythm interpretation.
