Shop Service Technician

Job Description

The Shop Service Technician serves conducts repairs and updates on Fecon equipment.  Visiting customer sites to make repairs, address service problems to determine service and parts needs, and working with parts, service and engineering to fulfill the customer’s requirements is the bulk and main area of responsibility. 

The Shop Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment in house and in the field.  Extensive mechanical and hydraulic ability in the mobile equipment industries is required.  This can include skid steers, excavators, forestry equipment, fork trucks, semi-trucks, and more.  If you are someone that likes to get their hands dirty working on machines, we would like to hear from you. Experience repairing construction equipment is required.

Requirements:

• Ability to travel as required to customer locations (estimated as 25-50% of the time).
• Strong experience repairing construction equipment.
• Resourcefulness to find needed services and parts in remote locations.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to MIG or flux core weld.
• Excellent people skills working with a diverse set of customers and dealers is a must.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or the ability to attain one is required.
