Description Position Summary:
The Graphic Production Artist works in support of the graphic design process using their pre-press skills.  This position will be responsible for the production of the digital graphics produced in house.  This candidate must be able to independently make balanced decisions on maintaining a projects' creative integrity, while making sure the final product is financially successful.
Requirements Essential Responsibilities:
  • Prepare files for digital production in house or for outsourcing to a supplier.
  • Communicate with suppliers on project specifics
  • Operate in house digital processes such as the Vutek and Lambda
  • Help coordinate production between design, production and the sign shop
  • Support the production process by type setting, proofing and overall quality assurance

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  
  • Extensive pre-press knowledge
  • In depth knowledge for industry standard software which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Quark along with some knowledge of After Effects and Flash
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while working in time challenged situations
  • A self starter that has good communication skills
  • Minimum two (2) years experience
  • Associates level degree or equivalent experience
  • Resourceful and creative in problem solving
