Security Officer (Part-Time)

1. Maintains access control to plant facilities.
2. Monitors cameras and alarm systems.
3. Monitors all radio transmissions.
4. Monitors the Emergency telephones.
5. Performs temperature checks in the plant and of the trailers.
6. Answers the telephones during evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
7. Provides medical and business-related transports as necessitated by management.
8. Monitors all parking lots for parking and moving violations.
9. Monitors facilities and employees for theft and vandalism.
10. Assists management with employees.
11. Assists employees and visitors.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am to 6:00pm

OR

Friday, 11:00pm - 6:00am
Saturday, 6:00pm - 6:00am
Sunday, 6:00pm - 11:00pm

Please indicate on your application which shift (1st or 3rd) you would prefer.
(Listed pay rates are starting rates only and are subject to experience and qualifications.)

• Security experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to handle confrontation.
• Must be able to juggle many tasks at once and be quick to react.
• Must handle stressful situations calmly.
