ADON / Assistant Director of Nursing

Assistant Director of Nursing Service/Staff Development Coordinator 

Position Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and executes general orientation and in-service programs for all staff in the home;
• Coordinates and maintains in-service and health records for all staff;
• Coordinates employee health programs
• Assesses the learning needs of the staff through direct observation, formal learning assessments and indirectly through review of quality improvement and/or program evaluation;
• Support the home’s Safety Program;
• Works closely with DNS to ensure implementation of nursing policies, procedures and expectations in the home;
• Responsible for implementation and oversight of the Infection Control protocol in the home

Position Requirements

• Qualified candidates must be licensed as an RN in Florida

• We are looking for individuals with strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills. 
• Must have 3 years in a management/supervisory role.
