Description We are seeking seasoned service professionals with a passion for and focus on exceeding expectations, every member, every time. A proven track record of strong customer service is required - the successful candidate must be personable, welcoming and engaging.

A successful Teller is directly responsible for serving as the first point of contact with our members and their banking needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Perform teller transactions requested by members accurately and efficiently in accordance with SECU policies and procedures.
    • Comply with all regulatory rules and conditions (e.g. BSA).
    • Maintain and balance a large volume cash drawer.
    • Assist with daily branch opening and closing duties.
    • Ensure a memorable member experience to include participation in lobby management efforts.
    • Exhibit expected service excellence behaviors and adhere to SECU service level agreements at all times.
    • Educate members on SECU products and services that best meet their financial need.
Requirements Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Previous experience in a financial institution is preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months cash handling experience (large amounts) required.
  • Strong mathematical, organizational and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong problem solving skills and complete comfort in a sales and service environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with the public and provide a consistent, positive service experience.
