The Director of SEC Reporting incorporates all the internal and external factors that impact financial models.  The person in this role demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of a broader set of financial statements and analytical techniques.  The Manager is responsible for reviewing multiple models and financial statements for accuracy and reasonableness.

Conducts complex and broader analyses, potentially across multiple business units. 

 

In addition, the Director SEC Reporting will be responsible for:

  • Proactively develops and maintains broad knowledge of the technical disciplines in own functional area(s); applies broad knowledge of trends and
  • Uses functional expertise, influence and process skills to help internal/external customers identify and meet their high priority needs
  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables and determines  alternative solutions; understands the resource implications of solutions and makes recommendations in adherence to governance .
  • Responsible for Manufacturing Variances and Balance Sheet; full P&L, month end close, plan, and forecast
  • Represent to all financial regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with all SEC and FASB regulations.
  • Work with senior management in modeling projects such as feasibility studies for acquiring and divesting in facilities and distribution systems.
  • Reviews and synthesizes analyses into a succinct recommendation for senior financial management
  • Support monitoring of the performance of financial institutions and benchmarking against internal performance.

Requirements
  • BS/BA Finance or Accounting or a related field.  MBA required.
  • CPA/CMA is absolutely required
  • 5-10 years of blended Accounting and Finance experience with with a minimum of 3 yrs job related experience.
  •  Must have strong understanding of cost accounting, profitability measurement, and financial analysis theory and applications.

  • Experience in using and maintaining profitability and financial analysis systems.

  • Strong management/project management skills a must.
