Description

Antonelli College in Hattiesburg,  Mississippi is looking to expand our faculty in the area of Business Office Applications.  We are seeking a full-time Program Director for the business office applications program.   Program directors are the leaders of the various programs and as the business office applications program director, the qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Teaching approximately four classes including Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), general business and customer service courses, keyboarding, and office procedures
  • Developing lesson plans for all courses taught
  • Maintaining accurate attendance and grade records for all classes taught
  • Advising students about attendance and grade challenges
  • Leading the program by monitoring student attendance, assisting admissions department with program growth ideas, maintaining excellent program retention rates, developing strong program advisory committee consisting of qualified community leaders in the field of study
  • Providing superior customer service to students, faculty members and administrators
  • Participating in all Antonelli College functions and events
  • Attending and participating in departmental meetings, faculty meetings and monthly management meetings
Requirements
  • Prefer bachelors degree in business office technology or business administration with three to five years of experience in the field
  • Prefer teaching experience, but not required
  • Must be expert in Microsoft Office Suite and have strong ability to convey information to students
  • Must be able to work a flexible 40-hour work week including two evenings per week
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Strong presentation skills
