Description
The National Pain Institiute has a F/T Medical Office Scheduler position available in Delray Beach. This position provides first multi line phone coverage for the company’s on-call system and supports the senior management team in administrative tasks.
Some duties will include:
• Answers phones and transfers callers appropriately.
• Updates on-call system with assigned provider contact number.
• Confirms that on-call system is in working order.
• Communicates with on-call provider to ensure proper patient call handling.
• Collects and tracks responses to Patient Satisfaction Surveys.
• Records phone system greetings as necessary.
• Scans and files documents.
• Prepares outgoing mail.
• Prepares and sends faxes.
• Assists with transcription as needed.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically Windows, Excel and other Office programs. Working knowledge of Mysis, Tiger, EMR, Medical Manager or other medical scheduling and record keeping software a must. Position pays $ 8.00 an hr.
