CORT FURNITURE RENTAL a BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY Company and the leader in furniture rental and sales industry is looking for a Retail Warehouse/Sales Support Person for our Houston Hillcroft showroom location. CORT is seeking an aggressive, people oriented, bright, self-motivated individual with strong career goals and leadership skills. The position will consist of 75% physical and 25% Sales work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following responsibilities and requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Stocking and maintaining warehouse and display showroom     

• Displaying merchandise on shelves, counters, and showroom floor
• Assisting customer with furniture load outs
• Touch up, wipe down, clean, and repair sales floor merchandise     
• Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking appropriate 

         appropriate paperwork against items received

• Assist the retail sales staff with customer services as needed
• Ability to work with distribution moving merchandise
• Ability to work independently on plans for warehouse and showroom
• Understands and adheres to safety requirements within the warehouse and showroom

   

The Ideal Candidate for this Position will:

• Possesses at least 1-2 years of successful hands-on experience in furniture moving and/or sales support;
• aggressive, self-motivated, multi-task oriented;
• Bilingual-English & Spanish speaking a plus;  
•  Computer literate
• Ability to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule 
• Ability  to lift 40lbs repetitively throughout the day
• Good communication and organizational skills 
• Ability  to work independently with little direction and results oriented
