Growing company searching for a talented District Manager to join our team! If you are a multi-store management professional, this could be the growth opportunity for you!  We are seeking a District Manager to manage and assume total responsibility for the success of a geographic district by directing all operational aspects of each store and driving sales. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides clear and timely direction to store management teams to ensure operating standards regarding customer satisfaction, merchandise presentation, promotions, inventory levels and payroll are maintained.
  • Schedule regular store visits to ensure compliance in all areas of customer service, store operations, and loss prevention. 
  • Train, challenge, motivate, encourage, and provide constructive guidance to Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers related to all areas of effective operations.
  • Responsible for coaching and developing store management teams to focus on customers needs, commit to quality, and manage the profitability of their stores.
  • Continually evaluates the performance of all members of store management.
  • Maintains compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Builds and maintains a well developed and motivated management team
Requirements
  • Possess strong customer service skills including clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Operations experience with full P&L responsibility required.
  • Proficient knowledge of common computer applications including MS Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of five (5) years multi-unit retail management responsibilities.
  • Recruiting, hiring and development of store management personnel.
  • Weekly overnight travel is required.
  • Availability to work extended hours during holiday season and other high traffic periods.
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects and displays (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Possess basic mathematical skills and working knowledge of computerized cash register and POS system.
