Description Q&A Recruiting has teamed with an Insurance Company located in Waco, TX to locate their next Director of Accounting. The company offers a close knit, family work environment; strong benefits to include 3 weeks of vacation; and 401k with a 6% match.

The key responsibilities for the role include: oversight of the accounting function for the company; ensurance of compliance with SOX; preparation of financial statements for the parent company; review of statutory and GAAP accounting standards; and leadership of the accounting team.

Requirements Qualified candidates must have: 10+ years of accounting experience within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry; CPA is highly preferred; MBA is preferred; and 5+ years of supervisory experience. Candidates must be willing to fully relocate to the Waco area.
