We are a dynamic real estate development company. We specialize in apartment and self-storage development, construction, and management.

We currently have an opportunity for an Apartment Manager in Michigan City, IN. This position is responsible and accountable for all on-site operations  to achieve strategic and profit plan objectives.

Position responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: 

Direct property operations and staff
Process new applications/re-certifications 
Maintain compliance policies and procedures 
Supervise rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits and petty cash records 
Pursue delinquent rents/evictions 
Provide account information to the Regional Supervisor 
Direct all marketing and leasing activities and maintain targeted occupancy 
Supervise tenant relations and enforce all community rules and regulations 
Work with the Regional Supervisor to develop, monitor and achieve annual budget objectives

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, one year of apartment management experience (preferred), and affordable housing experience (Section 42 or Section 8). The right person for this position is a team player, has the ability to multi-task under pressure, is detail orientated, and has excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
