STORE MANAGER TRAINEE

During a 6 month training period you will work closely with various store managers in the Mid- Atlantic region ( DE, MD, PA, NJ, VA, WV). Through on-the-job training and classroom aspects, you will develop the skills necessary to be a successful NAPA Store Manager in one of our stores located in the Danville/Milton area.

  • Enjoys working with people in a fast-paced setting; be competitive yet have the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Serves as a role model for the company by consistently and enthusiastically communicating with a positive attitude.
  • Has a genuine liking for people and show it in their dealings with them by being friendly and outgoing.
  • Must possess a progressive attitude, high degree of ambition, have a strong desire to lead and not be afraid of challenge.
  • Is willing to pitch in and exhibit to others a willingness to get the job done.
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to adjust to changes in schedule on a daily basis.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.
  • Requirements
  • At least 2 years previous experience in the Automotive aftermarket necessary.
  • Previous management experience in the auto parts industry preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED. College degree a plus.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 60 pounds.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with no DWI convictions within the past three years and not have over three moving violations or two "at-fault" accidents in the last three years.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
