About the Opportunity: EMSI is looking for a Regional Sales Representative to cover our New England region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales plans and strategies to identify growth opportunities throughout an existing customer base.
  • Required to be a resident in the region and will represent and position the company though direct customer meetings as well as industry events.
  • Work directly with distributors of life and health insurance products and will also require working cooperatively with the local branch managers within the assigned region.
  • Sales goals and targets for the region and performance will be measured on meeting these targets.

  • Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience
  • Ability to travel extensively within a geographic region (50%)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and closing skills
  • B2B sales experience with accountability for individual quantitative goals
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline and moving opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Effective prospecting and networking skills
  • MS office suite proficiency
  • Experience using a CRM is required

    Additional Attributes for the position:
  • Prior experience working from home
  • Prior commission based compensation structure
  • Prior experience setting up and performing multiple group presentations per week
  • Knowledge of the life insurance industry
  • Ability to work in a team environment
