This acute care, not-for-profit, healthcare system is dedicated to their patients. The ARNP is responsible for administering the managerial functions of setting objectives, planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating the activities of the Spine Center to produce excellence in all aspects of service, outcome and cost. Responsible for assisting development of clinical pathways for the spine patients. Responsible for seeing patients in the Spine Clinic under the guidance of the Medical Director of the Spine Center. Reviews timelines and findings of prior diagnostic testing. Follows patients through continuum of care to optimize adherence to clinical protocols. Participates in clinical case conferences. Makes rounds on the programs’ surgical patients to intervene as necessary, patients on outpatient spine care services, and facilitate other services (i.e. discharge planning). Case manages the spine patient (as a case load) through the system to ensure quality and effectiveness/efficiencies of care with the goal being an overall positive patient experience and outcome. Oversees and manages outcome database and develops quality indicator reports for quarterly review. Responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of pre and post-operative educational programs for the patients served.
