Description
Senior Services of America, a growing National Senior Housing Organization that provides independent living, assisted living and memory care services is currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing/LVN to become an integral part of our team at Westminster Terrace in Westminster, CA.
You will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Wellness Department.
These duties include, but are not limited to:
• Providing proper documentation of all nursing and healthcare services
• Responsible for maintaining health service plans and resident assessments
• Monitor effective communications regarding resident care
• Supervise, evaluate and train Caregivers and Medication Techs
• Recruit and retain all team members in the department, ensuring their effective orientation and training
Requirements
Director of Nursing requirements:
• Must possess at least a 2-year degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current licensure as an LVN
• RCFE Certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years gerontological nursing and nursing administration experience
• Ability to provide nursing services to the elderly while supervising a diverse staff
