ALABAMA MENTOR provides individualized residential treatment for children and adolescents who are emotionally disturbed and behaviorally impaired, as well as, individuals with developmental disabilities, and court-involved youth. ALABAMA MENTOR is part of a National Corporation that has been providing services for 20 years. Responsible for program leadership and operations management including supervision of program staff. Assigns caseloads, evaluates program performance for quality assurance and compliance with internal policy and procedures, minimum standards and contractual obligations. Coordinates staff development and training and is responsible for clinical decisions regarding services and supervision of children in care. Develops and maintains working relationship with all funding sources, regulatory bodies and interagency liaisons. Assists in marketing and development of new business. Projects revenue, staffing requirements and monitors monthly expenses, in conjunction with Regional Director. Assures service delivery and compliance with all regulatory contractual, corporate and legal requirements. Maintains working knowledge of all contracted requirements and ensures compliance with treatment interventions. Oversees recruitment, including selection, training, supervision, and termination of foster parents as well as treatment plans and services to children. Processes referrals, intakes, assessments, matching and placement of new referrals.
Requirements MSW Degree preferred and minimum of 3 to 5 years experience at least 2 years of supervisor experience or equivalent. Some knowledge of budget and fiscal management required. Must have superior problem solving skills and ability to identify and mitigate risks, make decisions, inspire confidence and facilitate communication. Must pass background check, driving record and finger printing process.
